What do you want from the new '07 Prestiges?

So, I'm pretty sure this is the right forum, so, Who else is excited for the new Prestiges? Has anything been announcd yet? All I know about is the new V-blade, Which isn't even a prestige as far as I know. I personally want to see the S prestiges made in Japan again, and have alot more body/ color options. 24 frets would be nice too.

EDIT: I just saw the other thread, just like this. Whoops. Let this thread die then/

Prestige MIJ artcore. I don't like the artcores out now and I can't afford a PM or GB

Re: What do you want from the new '07 Prestiges?

if Ibanez does not give me 20th annyversary RG , MIJ of course, then I'm not expecting anything fro Ibanez in 2007, because......I'm turning into CAPARISON!!!

For the person who has 11 RG's , I have the right to say this to Ibanez !
I've been loyal to Ibanez for many years that i can't even remember.
The year 2004-2006 is very dissapointed for me. My only hope is 2007.

the RG is one of the biggest guitars in the world, its no longer just "the cheap JEM" and it deserves its recognition and something special for its 20th.

Unfortunately, it seems like Ibanez' main emphasis is on the word cheap now. I'm afraid the days of MIJ RG's are numbered. There's only 5 bolt-on neck RG's as it is now. I doubt they do any kind of reissue on the MIJ guitars. I expect them to throw some DY or RR paint on some RG350s though. Yawn.

If I had to make a short wish-list, it would consist of locking studs, maple fingerboards, ORIGINAL Wizard neck profile, some new (non black) solid colors, a bolt on necked hardtail (Gotoh GTC101 string thru body style hardtail) with direct mount pickups, and Edge or Lo Pro Edge tremolos. Or at least Lo Pro style saddles for the ep. I'm not holding my breath for any of these though. I'll probably just keep buying pre 03' RG's and PGMs. --Jason

I cant imagine them stopping production of MIJ rgs, It would be a bitter blow if they did.

I would like to see a RG Prestige with a Maple fretboard and a OFR-style trem (one with a colar to not make the trem bar move) that will be awesome

edit: also a non-recessed trem

ibanez will never use an OFR on a stock instrument and thats the way most of us want it to stay
