What is this Ibanez Prestige model?

I saw this guitar for sale locally, the guy says it's an RG3120 from 2003. However a quick search of ibanez.wikia shows that the RG3120 was only made in 2005-2006 and was not made in this grayish color, but other than that it does look like an RG3120. Is the Wiki site just not updated on this guitar, or is this something other than an RG3120?

Wiki sites are updated by anyone that feels like adding info. Don't believe everything you read there! Go to ibanez.com or ibanezrules.com and browse through the catalogs.

Ah thanks. I did find it in a catalog and it is an RG3120TW from 2003.

Plus, the serial number on that one dictates that it's a 2003.

Yup, that's what it is. Only in 2003 they came with offset dots, EdgePro and in TW as combo.

Well the serial number definitely does say 03 but I didn't think the 3120 was made in that year, plus the seller said it has a tone zone and an air norton, but the 3120 comes with a tone zone and paf pro which led me to believe it was something else.

But anyways, it says it has a Edge Pro II tremolo, but I've not heard good things about that one compared to the original Edge Pro or the Edge Lo-pro so I don't think I'd want it.

If the price is right I would get it.Although I prefer the lo-pro, I have had zero issues with the edge pro pictured.My main player is an 02 3120dr.It is an excellent guitar for what you can get them for these days.One of the few ibbies that you got genuine dimarzios in back then.

Yeah, snatch it up, those bridges are great. Basically a J-custom.

RG3120's were most certainly produced in 2003. I know because I had one. I found the color to be "greener" than the previous TW finishes.

I believe the original run was from 1997 until 2003, then they stopped in 2004, came back in 2005 (with just regular, centered dots as opposed to offset dots and DiM/ IBZ pickups as opposed to Tone Zone/ PAF), but were discontinued in 2006.

If I remember correctly, I believe the 3120 was the first ever Prestige model, but someone will, I'm sure, correct me if I'm wrong.
