Seems to be a 1996 JCRG1808 Royal Wine color.

RG1808 had a figured maple body - heres one:

It's not a RG1808 in Royal Wine as the finish would be much more red.

The correct model for that would be a 1997 Ibanez RG1608-SLG (silky Garnet). The things that gave it away was the color, the strap locks, the color of the hardware and the pickups. (it was really the pickups that gave away the specific model #)

If you look closely at the pickups you'll notice that the pickups don't have the typical slug/screw poles that the Air Norton and Tone Zone would have. The only J-Customs I recall having something else other than the AZ/BV/TZ pickups were the RG16xx models.

I have a 1608 in SLB (im selling it next week actually).

Its a great guitar , but be aware that the neck is pretty big.
