What's Fair Price for NOS RG2020X in U.K.?

Hi.
What would be a fair price for a New Old-Stock RG2020X Piezo model in the U.K.? You may have seen my post about my search for a 2020X the other day.
I've found this one and it's been in the shop since it was new (so it is still new essentialy)and has only been played in the shop. It looked Black in the original tiny pics I saw but I eventually got some better pictures from the guy today and it is Blue (as suspected). It still looks like new except for a smallish scratch on the back from a careless customer trying it out.
I know prices are higher here in the UK than they are in the US so what do you think would be a fair price for such a guitar? I've been trying to find a used one and either there isn't many about or the people who have them aren't selling because I've had no luck except for this one. The guy will still give me a 2-year warranty on it as well, which can't be bad! What's the highest (UK Price) I should be prepared to pay for it? I'd be really grateful for some opinions and advice about this please.

They're not the best pictures but they seem to show that it's still pretty clean and it looks like a nice guitar.

I was undecided whether to get one of these or to try a 7-string RG. Are the new RG1527's the same quality guitar as the 2020X's? I know they're a very different guitar but I'm talking about build quality and playability. The 2020X and the 2120X's were a lot more expensive than something like a new RG1527 but is that just down to the 'Double-Edge' bridge and mahogany body or are the 2020X's generally a higher quality instrument?

I know there's quite a few questions here but I'm ready to make a decision(well almost!) and I just want to be sure about what I get. I tend to be a very cautious buyer but it usually works out best that way and I end up with what I actually want in the end. I've made impulse purchases before and lived to regret it,lol.

Please, can you use just one thread to discuss RG´s with double edge? Here are too many threads about same or similar guitars now, it is a bit confusing. Just comment :-).

It's a different subject and a different question, that's why it's a different post. If we were only aloud to use one post for each type of guitar there wouldn't be a lot on this site. You are very easily confused!

I've bought mine 4 years ago in Italy for 1100 Euros new. In that period of time it was still in production, so now you can get a discount....but even for 100 ueros I would still grab it right now! Excellent axe IMO

Did you mean 1000 Euros? I think I will probably get the guitar. I've been searching for one of these for a while and this one looks like a great example. Although it's been plyed in the Store there doesn't seem to be any wear on the trem or anywhere really (difficult to tell properly I suppose). Everyone who's had a 2020X seems to have nothing but praise for them. As long as we can agree on a fair price I'm pretty sure I'll be having it!

OK, back to the subject. I think it's a beautiful giutar, the colour is very nice and the guitar looks very clean. If you really like it, go for it. Price is up to you. IMHO 1000 euro would be good price (definetely if you get 2y warranty). I would take the guitar for 800 pounds if I had them :-) But not for more.

I think I'd pay up to £800 for it. I'm going to phone the guy tomorrow and see if we can come to an agreement on the price. I'll offer him a bit less and see if we can meet in the middle or something. I've set my mind on getting it now so I hope he isn't going to try and ask too much for it.
We'll see anyway! I'll let you know what happens. Thanks to you and 'Pesso' for the advice.

Check this website out, they have it for £1099. So I would say £800 would be a good price to pay.

gak have the 2120X for £949, so I don't know really.

That's helpful. I've searched most of the UK dealers sites but I missed that one at HW Audio.'Nevada Music' have also got the 2120X for about £950.
I'm going to speak with this guy later and see if he can do this 2020X for £800. If so I think I'll HAVE to have it,lol.
