how does the 1570 compare to other prestiges??

I put a 1570 on laybuy in december i havent played it yet but the guy at the shop reccomended it.

The 1570 build quality is on par with the other Prestiges. You just get less features on a 1570. Everyone has different tastes, so there is no such thing as a 'best' Prestige. In my eyes anyway.

Ibanez Rg1570 Nice Guitar...
The biggest difference is that pickups does not exist.
You can easily make a wonderful guitar by chaning Dimarzio Pickups.

Yeh, I've got an RG1570, never had a sngle problem with it and the edge pro is a great bridge, thng is i've got one of the older ones, with a cosmic blue finish, can't say im a fan of the new paintjobs on them but eh..
The stock pickups aren't up to much but im in the process of changing mine, I'm using all DiMarzio's and so far I've got a FRED in the neck and an EVO2 in the bridge, sounds fantastic now, just need to change the singlecoil n the middle now...

the 1570 is at the bottom of the rg prestige heap, but that's no bad thing.

generally, you could say that what it lacks is binding on the neck, "real" dimarzios, and a figured top.

i had an '05 1570 in mirage blue for a while. very nice. colour is subjective.

The old 3120s were the best, they had real dimarzios and awesome maple tops... The 2027x was great too...

The new lower prestiges look no better to me than their old equivalents (say the 550, the 570, etc...)

Lol dimarzios come in lots of different colors... it varies by pickup model. Hit http://www.dimarzio.com select a pickup model and click on the 'color' box.

Please don't ask which pickup is best next

It's totally subjective... there are a ton of sound clips floating around of different pickups in basswood bodied guitars (which is what the 1570 is made out of).

It was just easier for Ibanez to make the whole MIJ line the 'Prestige' series.

Guys..... I would really reccomment the rg1570 i myself have one and still need the money to change the pickups. If you guys got lots of money, sure and head on to the rg2xxx and so forth. but seriously if u put good pickups in a rg1570. IT should be at the same level of a jem. Wasting more money on it is seriously meh.... Shoot get a j-custom with all ur money lol

I just reccomend the rg1570 since its exactly the same like a rg2570 except they dont have real dimarzios, and rg2570 looks nice and all but you pay for it. And i have the feeling that white paint wont last centuries.....
