What don't you like? The part where he says he blocked the trem? Should be easy enough to reverse, depending on how he blocked it.

He put two mighty screws right through it...

Kind of a stupid thing to do being there are so many ways to block a trem right without damaging anything...

Some luthier took advantage of him, IMHO.

Looks like he had a problem, and he solved it. No problem there at all. Perfectly resonably thing to do. And I'm not sure how you could call it "wrecked". It was an improvement for what he needed it for.

How long have you been here Darin
Any modifications to an Ibanez that isn't putting pink or purple pickups in it is considered ruining it. Granted the job could've been done better but it isn't the end of the world.

Re: Who wrecks an RG2027XL?

I wouldn't call that wrecking. Take the screws out, and if you really must get another trem .

Now that explains a lot.

I'm not sure it even counts as a real modification since it can be reversed.

I'm willing to bet he's selling it to buy an LP!

The guitar is not a 2027xl

It is a 2077xl.

Also it sold for £820.

Ridiculous.

Re: Who wrecks an RG2027XL?

Thats stupid. I had problems with a lo trs. I put a wood block behind the block, not screws through the tremolo!
