Why is there so liitle info on J-Customs ?

I just got a J-Custom and can find virtually no info on them at all, why is this ?? All other ibanez guitars have loads of info on the Web but no J-customs - just the odd picture or 2. I want to know materials used, production numbers and everything !

As the Forum-proclaimed expert, I'll handle this one...heh heh....
Production totals on the J-Customs are tight. *My best guess- 12 or less per model.

Materials used: top of the line. *Even the guys over at Vigier go, "Damn, nice work!". *

The J-Customs are hand-assembeled, hand-finished, hand-wired, hand-everything in Ibanez's J-Custom shop (where the JEM's, UV's, JS's, etc. are done as well). *Only the best luthiers Hoshino has touch these things. * It can't get much better.

For more info (and pics), check out the quick page I put up last year:
http://www.lakecatamountrealty.com/jcustom/
I bought "www.j-custom.com", but the site's not up yet. *Soon, I promise. *:-)

Sorry-

If you live in NJ: less than 24 of each model.
Everywhere else: *less than 12 of each model.
Either way, RARE!

Primarily because they are not being sold to the USA marketplace. The 'Prestige' labeled guitars are the ones that are sold in the USA thru Ibanez dealers.

It sounds rude but realistically speaking, no one is aware of the 'J-customs' and for the most part, only a few people really care... glen

I assume the Prestiges are made in the J Custom shop as well?
I was under the impression that they had one shop, but they put the really good luthiers in a special section to make JEM's, UV's....
