Kinda figured I would be bidding against someone from here
I actually bid quite a bit more than I won it for expecting the sniping to get frenzied on it.

Re: Woohoo snuck one in...NGD
It came in this morning, but I was walking out the door to visit family so no pics yet. But there was some shipping damage to the case
and the neck has the typical locking nut cracks, which I asked about before bidding and was told there weren't any. Anyhow they are going to offer me some sort of partial refund for those two things...Im not sure how much yet. Frankly I got it for less than most people pay for beat up 570's so I will probably keep it depending on their offer. Still kinda bummed none the less.

yeah i asked if there were cracks and they said no.
i bet they did it on purpose and planned it to sell it cheaper listing it wrong and blame it on shipping.
the neck made that whole guitar.

Re: Woohoo snuck one in...NGD
They are asking me what I think is a fair refund amount. Any of you guys have an idea of what a luthier would charge to repair it?

you live close to livewire guitars ( michael). probably 50.00
but i would want a refund of half because the neck made the guitar.
but post some pics of the crack.

Re: Woohoo snuck one in...NGD
I was in a hurry and just took these to document the cracks on ebay system so the pics suck
The white stuff is the price tag they had on there, I didnt really have time to clean it totally off. Its your typical m-crack, but its not really opened up even with string tension. Ive seen worse for sure.

Put some goo gone on that price tag and it'll come off easily.
Congrats!
