5105 6105 frets - what's the diff?

What is the difference on the JS1200? Maybe 6105 is new for 2006? Other than that I need some enlightening on what the difference is and why they would bother changing the frets.

They didn't change the frets ... they have always been 6105.

That's interesting. I was asking a guitar store nearby about their JS1200 and they told me it had 5105 frets on it and it was a 2005 model so I was curious what the diff was.

one starts with a 5 and another starts with a 6

They were just wrong. There's no 51-anything. They probably had EVH on their brains.
