A question that maybe Rich can answer?

Do you know how the serial numbers run on the Js Blackdogs, i have seen them as low as 19064, 19283 and also 19455 which is quite a large number between them considering 88 were made! Any one with an insight on this? Rich?

They were probably not all made consecutively, and the numbers are just indicative of the number of JS series guitars made, so that includes all the 1200 or whatevers which were made between the Blackdogs.

Any attempted answer would be based on mostly speculation.

1. From experience I've never believed plate numbers came out of a box sequentially.

2. It isn't know if the custom shop did final assembly and setup, or if the parts were given to Fujigen to be assembled.

3. The answer could be either small batches, or non consecutive plates, or a combination of both.
