Anyone modified as JS? - Is so, what have you done?

Hi! Just curious! Have any of you done anything with your JS? Like changing PU or anything else? Whatever you did, are you happy?

I wonder if that guy with the mutant chromeboy/Jem will post

I won't ever change my JS1000btb, it's sounds (and looks) fine the way it is.

I put Evolutions in mine. Love it . Still has that JS sound to it though, just a little different. The FRED was too trebble-sounding for me. FRED sounds great, to me, in the CP, however.

I want to make a kill switch but found I would have to do something to the body so I left it....I built my own little kill switch and have it in the input swicth. so it's like pluging a small stomp box into it so it's still on the guitar...I only use it on my strat since the JS has that side input. But other than that I wouldn't touch a thing on it.

i fitted a TremSetter on my '94 JS100BK since i really had problems with the trem raising at hard bendings...

it works like a charm, and i love it!

Well I had a custom paint job done :biggrn: and I LOVE IT!!! *lol *Thanks Herc!!!

I could not imagine modifying the JS6, JS10, or JS1 though. (Actually the JS1 is in the mail) but I love the tones that they get just the way they are.

Well, I dunno if you can really call it customized or modified, but this is what I did:

It's a JS1000 BP from '96, *I changed the neck on it, *now it has a '90 JS1 neck - it feels bigger like my JS10th which I like. *I changed the Lopro to a black Edge, and I changed the other hardware to black also. Besides that, it's setup with 2 springs in straight line - bends like butter!

here's a bad pic! (which I dunno how to include in the message!! ..)
