Body of a JS100 vs Body of a JS1000/1200

Yo guys


After checking out the pics of the new JS guitars on Ibanez's website, I'm absolutely gutted that the cheap model of the 20th anniversary JS is based on a JS100...so i'd love to buy it just for the body and change everything else about it (pickups, trem, probably even neck)...apart from some routing in the trem area, would there be any problems you can foresee? (I'd take it to a guitar tech guy, I wouldn't do it myself).

And also, just out of interest, whats the difference between the body of a JS100 and body of JS1000?

The price the so called "cheap" js20 will be, its not worth it IMHO. Just get a js100 and have it custom painted, or even better so you dont have to buy all the pickups, trem etc...buy a used JS1000, pre 2002. And have that painted instead Thats hey way id go about it.
