Re: Burnt transparent blue sound?

Imagine if you were to get ray-o-vac batteries...the horror.

Y'mean he doesn't just have 'em plug into the wall? That's what I do.

I dig Duracell batts for that kind 'o' thing, but I have saved a fortune w/Radio Shack rechargeables that I use in other devices.

I cannot distinguish any tonal differences between plug-ins and battery brands...however I can distinguish different guitar makes on certain recordings.

Speaking of the 7-string JS. I've seen Joe Satriani perform with a red 7-string JS guitar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQO3RATXXJE
So there is a prototype... We just need mass-production now

But could you tell the difference between an Anderson Tele and a Suhr Tele, or a Fender Strat and a Melancon S-type? I think P.Aaron was being more specific than telling a Les Paul at full tilt from a Ric at full jangle

Depends, nuclear power is better for metal, while hydroelectic gives the amp a more folky feel...
