Chromeboy prices.

Just wondering what year the Chromeboy was introduced, how much it retailed for, and how much it sells for now used. *Thanks.

I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm at all mistaken, but...I believe the JS10th "Chromeboy" model was release in 1998 and retailed for $3000 w/case and goodies. *(At least, that's when I got mine). *Condition is everything, but they seem to be going for between $1900 and $3000+, depending on how pristine they are and how badly somebody wants one. *Check out the little green box in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. *Rich is the resident guru when it comes to JS models, and he's usually got a few in stock. *

I think the original Chromes (which I believe Rich also has one or two of!) were introduced in 1992, but were never put into mass production due to problems with the chroming process. *I think Rich told me there were between 12-24 of those made...and as for price, I wouldn't know what to guess at, but I'm sure that IF one could be found, it'd go for well over $5000 (JUST a guess though!)
