Confusion with the JS pots

Hi guys, i just got myself a 2007 JS1000 btb.

There is the standard 2 pots, tone and volume.
Both can be pushed-pulled.

BUT the strange thing is (to me) is that the volume push pull does nothing while the tone push pull is the one that controls BOTH the neck and bridge pickups singlecoil/humbucker functions.

I always thought (b4 i bought this) tht the volume knob controls the neck pickup options (singlecoil/humbucker) and the tone knob controls the bridge pickup options.

Is my guitar wired wrongly or is that the standard fixture for the js1000?

try the volume push/pull while you have the guitar volume rolled down to almost zero

my bad, thanks again.

no wonder i was wondering y the high pass filter didn't work.
I bought the guitar really quick as i had a plane to catch so didn't have time to ask all the relavant questions lol.

this is exactly what i needed. i've had to replace the vol pot 2x since 98, and the last time, they wired it as a vol control only. today's task is to fix that crap! thanx for posting the schem!

Thanks for posting that Diagram, i just bought a js100 and want to install push/pull pots like on my js1000BTB
