Crystal Planet JS2KPLT

Hi,

Would someone mind dropping onto the EVIL site and confirming for me that the JS listed as "JS Series Transparent" isn't really a JS2KPLT?

I don't remember seeing it with those volume/tone knobs, and definitely not the original neck.

So is it a copy, or is it a JS2KPLT with mods or something else?

Cheers

Re: Crystal Planet JS2KPLT

Looks dodgy to me

Crystal Planet's have a silver headstock finish and Edge Bridges. The vol and tone knobs are wrong too. I'm real CP's had a special serial number print on the back of the headstock not the normal F*******

I could be wrong you need Rich's view - he's the JS expert !

Absolutley. It's a terrible 'clone'. I wouldn't buy it, if I were you.

Possibly an employee job using a crystal body.

Re: Crystal Planet JS2KPLT

Thanks guys - don't worry, wasn't remotely thinking of buying it, it just looked "wrong".

When I'm back in the market for a JS my money's heading to South Jersey...

Re: Crystal Planet JS2KPLT

It's def. a crystal body but everything esle has been replaced. The only thing that looks legit is the body.

What makes you think it is an employee? Because it is a CP body?
