cursed lo trs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok i got all of the buzzing out of my new js100, now onto getting rid of the godforsaken lo trs (aka POS) tremolo. Ive heard that a original
Floyd Rose
is interchangeable with the lo POS, is the original Floyd Rose interchangeable with the edge system, and if so wouldn't i be better off getting an edge? Thanks!

Re: cursed lo trs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nope, it's not directly swappable for an Edge, but an original Floyd should work fine.

Get the Gotoh mate, awesome trems. Gotoh make the
Edge trems
, and they also supply their FR with
locking studs
. Get it, and if it takes a little work to fit (sanding/routing trem cavity a little maybe, putting in the new studs) it is so worth it.

Re: cursed lo trs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you have tom, don't worry it's more than worth it for the benefits. It's a JS100, not a 1000 or anything, and you will barely be able to see where you may have sanded or anything once the trem is in.
The studs and anchors will need to be drilled out a little, but once again so worth it.
I'm thinking I might buy an older JS100 with the LO-TRS and drop a Gotoh in when I have the cash, and can find one for a good price.

Soft!
It should fit, I fit one in my MIK RG470. Please though, to gain maximum benefit replace the POS LO-TRSII studs and anchors with the Gotoh ones.

Re: cursed lo trs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh ok, i might be wrong but aren't the lo pos posts fitted directly into the guitar. and the gotoh uses anchors. so i would have to drill out the holes for the anchors?

Re: cursed lo trs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah it will need the LO-TRSII studs and anchors pulled. It's not that hard, but if you are a little worried take the guitar to a pro and get them to do it.
