Differences between JS1000 and JS2000

I'm not that knowledgeable in JS at all so I was wondering what is the difference between these two?

And is JS2000 the best JS guitar?

JS1000: Lo Pro Edge tremolo

JS2000: FX Edge fixed bridge

Otherwise, they're pretty much identical, other than the colour. And no, the 2000 isn't the "top" model. It's just called the "2000" because it isn't the 1000.

That's a redundant question as only the 1000 has a "functioning" trem.

If you like your guitars with tremolos, the JS1000 is "better".

If you prefer fixed bridges, the JS2000 is "better" for you.

Otherwise, they're equal in quality, fit & finish, etc.

I don't know about the Crystal Planet being the BEST JS, but it's definitely up there. Out of the (7) different JS models that I've had, the JS2000 is probably my favorite to date, followed by my JS10th. I do like the CP very much, but the weight knocks off a few points for me. I miss my Donnie once in awhile, but when I had it, it really wasn't that great of a "player". Looked killer though! (I'm sure it plays much nicer now that Rich has it!). I've had a few JS1000's and (3) JS6's as well, which were all nice guitar. But...the JS2000 just seems to have a Strat-like crispness that the other don't have. I also love the added tone/sustain that the FX Edge gives.

Does anyone know exactly what the Fx bridge is? Is it a cut off the ball-ends and clamp the strings in job? Are there fine tuners on it? Does the nut or the tuners lock, or do neither of them?

the only thing I can say that is "better" about the JS2000, after seeing both is the paint finish. They should really offer CG on the JS1000 too, because it is stunning. I guess that's kinda subjective though.

Otherwise, identical feel, except the bridge (obviously).
