Dimarzio Evolution F-spaced on a JS-1000

Hey guys, i just ordered an Evo bridge model to be stuffed in replacement of the Fred bridge model. but b4 i do that, im really worried that the sound would be different and im worried that i won't like it. has anyone with a js1000 change it to a evo bridge model b4? Opinios pls ... i really need help to see whether this is a good idea for me to do this. All i want is a pickup that can generate low end sounds and also do solos.. i mean very heavy in the bass...sumthing like linkin park kind of heavy sound. Anyone?

the evo is slightly more trebly but has a very bright bottom so it may sound good for those rhythms (linkin park)

The fred is actually more full sounding out of my amp (the legacy) then the evo's.

A tone zone may be what your lookin for.

but dont underestimate the evo u may like it.

my thoughts.

Now I guess tha general opinion people will give you is that you should have actually tried the pick-up before buying it but it's too late for that now.

I personally hate the Evolution and I don't think it's a great pick-up if you want low-end sounds (You might think it's great though ). I think the Tone Zone was the pick-up for you. Never tried it, but they say it has great low-end.
