Doubleneck JS?

Anybody notice the doubleneck sunburst JS on the back cover of the new album? It's in the 6th photo-frame which you can check out here:

I saw that, too. Does Ibanez really understand how much $$ they would make on us if they opened a custom shop? We'd all be filing bankruptcy within a couple of months...

There's a big link right on the front page of www.satriani.com. You can download the first track, and sample the others. There are also pics of the cover art. The new album doesn't come out until the end of the month though.

Wow, this album sounds like a good mix of "extremist" and "crystal planet" and it really rocks! And, btw, am I the only person who thought about "All along the watchtower" after hearing "Chords of life"?

DUDE all along the watch tower is the first thing i thought!!! spooooky.... from these clips, satch sounds VERY restrained... which in his playing is always a bonus!!! I've said it before and I'll say it agian... he is Guitar GOD!!!

All along the watchtower is what I thought too. That IS the chord progression he plays on the acoustic isn’t it? HE does a VERY good Hendrix AND Malmstene*sp?* impersonation in Chords of Life. Just listen to the end of his driven solo at 1:56.... total YJM and it's the stuff that I LIKE from him at that. I can’t get enough of this album. Can’t wait for it to come around here.

ALSO!!!!! Listen to Hill Grove then go to the the TC Electronics page and listen to the songs that are in the sound samples for the G-major/force You will notice something VERY suprizing!!!!!!!!!!!

ok. the song I had in mind is in the G-Force demo section, the first song. something about "G-momma that aint no guitar". That song and Hill Grove arent TOO the same allthought I can hear one song inthe other when I listen to them. But I was checking out a brittish guitar review site on the web and there was another song they had put togeather that sounded suprizingly like both of these songs. Just some interesting stuff to me. Thought I would share.
