Peavey has said they would like to show our new JSX Combo at January's
NAMM show, and a little surprise too...more on that later as well.

That's all for now...
Joe
Little surprise = JS7, perhaps?

Damn! Yet another Ibanez guitar to buy... I need a bigger apartment.

Now a JSX combo is somthing i would like to buy...

I coould use a combo like that, as a full stack is impossible curry when you going to jam.

as for the surprise , It would either be a JS7 or a JS1300 with "FRED JOE" in it instead of FRED .

Well, a JS7 would more likely be a big surprise.

Also, I think the surprise they're talking about is something manufactured by peavey.

Maybe you'll get free stickers when you buy the amp.

"FRED JOE" is a pleonasm

the fred is already his signature PU.
a fixed bridge, string thru mahogany js7 would be awesome...

might just be a Fred 7 pickup. Could be why he's on the Dimarzio page now.

Maybe with EVH's departure from Peavey, they've suddenly got a lot of extra cash and production capacity to throw at other endorsees...

Have to admit, that was my first reaction, (rumour mongering ahoy ) maybe that way we'd see the re-introduction of the R-series

don't mean to be a pessemist, but I very much doubt ibanez are going to put a JS7 into production. They already have the biggest signature 7 string in history endorcement, they simply don't need to put out another high end custom 7 string.

I understand the K7 is an obvious flaw in my argument but due to the fact that is almost a Universe clone with different wood, I choose to omit it.

Maybe Ibanez will be producing the Alumiboy. The guitar Joe's holding in the photo on the DiMarzio site looks reeeeeallly smooth. I know, it's probably heavily retouched, but wouldn't that rock if Ibanez put the aluminum chromeboy into production?
