But gees it sounds nice. When I played it in the shop, it's fate was sealed.

I saw Joe with a Black dog a few weeks ago on stage, so I have to ask him where that one is from. I am pretty sure it's not one of the 88.

LOL, I just had a vision of Joe signing the certificate for his guitar.

Yeah, apparently they will only go off serial number. I think Ibanez doesn't want anyone to know exactly how many are made. Even though a lot of us can take a good guess, and there is a lot of rumours/information/misinformation flying around.

So you didn't get a case or any candy with it? Was this a trade show guitar?

That is the risk Rich and I discussed. It's one of the first run production shipped to a trade show. Not a prototype, like at some trade shows. Ibanez (directly) assures me the Case and cert are being sent out end of month when Joe has signed the certs and the guitars start shipping.

Risk having guitar separate from case and cert, I know, I could get burned, but hopefully not.
