First Ibanez BDG in the world!
First JS Black Dog? Did I get it well before they are shipped? That's my claim...
http://roo.emu.id.au/Satch
How about we discuss it? Jees, I hope I can get evidence to back this up...

No serial number behind the headstock? Where is it then?

I had one first so you only have 2nd in the world.... lol just kidding.
Nice guitar! I saw some kid on youtube try and make his own once and it was pretty good but not as awesome as the original Satch art

I think some bald dude has number one. Yours looks like a number two to me.

Exactly what I was going to say. Well, now you can say, "Who does number 2 work for???"
But that's sweet man.

Re: First Ibanez BDG in the world!
Sorry bout the link to the site. I was fooling around with it for a little while, try again now
The Satriani EP was sent to me by Joe, it's very cool and almost the best part of the collection.
And I am pretty sure I got this before Joe did. Apparently he held this one a few weeks ago and exclaimed "How the hell did you get one? I haven't even got one yet!"
So unless he got one in the last few weeks, I may have even jumped the queue there! I'll ask him next time I can.

Also, the serial number is on the neck heel plate. Mine's not visible deliberately.

Re: First Ibanez BDG in the world!
Joe sent me the EP quite a few years back, probably around 1997/1998. It was right after I met him for the first few times on the Joe Satriani Down Under Tour in Sydney and Melbourne. He hadn't signed it, so I took it to a signing event at Sydney in 2005 and he signed it there.
Here's the link (on my new beta site, still under heavy construction):

Re: First Ibanez BDG in the world!
Joe has been playing his live for at least 4 months.
Personally I think you gave up too much giving up the case and all the goodies.

Re: First Ibanez BDG in the world!
Original case and case candy always end up being important later on. Like a 10th that's missing it's case, cord, and strap would always bring much less that one in the same confition with all the accoutrement.
