G3 and new JS's
Went to G3 last night at it was awesome. Joe played the new JS flame:
http://www.madanthonycafe.com/rockline7.html
and I must say that thing is really beautiful in person. The blue color moving from the horns down appeared to be a 90th finish. That is, the color changed from blue to green depending on the viewing angle. The orange flames were kinda sparkly and had some kind of honey comb pattern underneath. That thing looked good enough to eat.
Joe started his set with a
candy apple red
JS that matched his red framed shades. That guitar looked nice too. I couldn't help thinking that that would be an easy finish to put into production. 2004?
Best Regards,
Mike.

The 'Flame' guitar was discussed here:

And I posted this pic:

About the red one....I don't remember reading about it. I'm sure Rich can add something.

That jewel red one with the matched headstock looked really nice, though he also had a metallic "sea foam green" colored one that looked pretty cool too.

Sorry JEAPS, no camaras allowed last night. Think JS2000 finish only in red and a matching headstock (as Soloist pointed out). Sounds like Rich may be posting some pictures on his website before long.....

Oh...I get it Rich. I somehow got it in my head that you meant you were going to see the red
production model
next month (and would be posting it on IbanezRules.com for sale). Wishfull thinking I suppose. Enjoy the show!
Best Regards,
Mike.

No way, the color is like the early R540 "jewel red" color (far darker and metallic). By the way those are some great shots of the show in Phoenix, however I was really looking forward to seeing that sea foam green metallic looking JS, does anyone have any shots of it?
