The pics of a 1994 TB (trans blue but not burnt, apparently) on the js site are quite close in colour to my BTB... The burnt spots on a BTB are more apparent though - the TB on the site seems to be gently burnt all over (or maybe its just the grain? i think weve had this arguement before ).. Mine is somewhere between that and the ones on rich's site (it's a 2000 BTB btw)

I've been meaning to take a Gallery shot of one sometime, if I have a chance I'll get to it. Otherwise all my inventory pics are in 640 res.

I believe the btb was released in 1994.

[edit: I should read Rich's posts before I post on JS issues..)]

According to the JSSite [and it's a Euro site] the BTB was introduced in the first 1000 year, 94'. We got the TB in the US.

What's the point of asking a question if youre not going to listen to the answer?

To be honest, I only played it once when I got it and that was it. It plays and sounds awesome! I love it and I have had quite a few JS's including a Donnie (RICH! ). I am keeping it it MINT condition....for what reason, I don't know

I know this sounds dumb... Dont flame me... Why not play it? I mean, I collect guitars n everything but this will be my first JS series but why keep a guitar and not play it or give it some attention. I mean yes his guitars are very collectible and all, but CA MON, what if you died tomarrow, What would have been the point to have the guitar? Especially if your not gunna play it. I buy guitars to play them. I guess Im not rich enough to buy guitars all the time to collect them instead of play them. :P
