Has Joe stopped playing his Chrome guitar?

Hi guys

I saw Joe yesterday in Birmingham...he was amazing but I noticed he didn't play his chrome guitar at all...he played his red one, and his red 7 string and also a white one, but no chrome guitar. I was just wondering if it was just not needed that night or if its now used as a backup? Oh and by the way, the new amps sound amazing.

No, the chromeboy is still there (the one that is still left). He used at the show in Copenhagen on the 14th of this month for one or two songs.

Since Pearly got stolen a couple of years ago, Joe decided to no longer take his most prized guitars out on the road any more. If i'm not mistaken, the chrome guitar he has on the road now is called "Alumiboy", which has an aluminum body.

Well it's the guitar that he's most associated with. It would kinda suck if he didn't have one even of it was away in a vault.

Ibanez should try and make a new batch for Joe.

Im sure that making a new batch would be no problem! I am pretty damn sure that Ibanez would make Joe a couple more. Lets hope so eh, and yeah I hate stealing too. Some people just have a thing about other peoples property!

I can't believe that you didn't like the chromeboy hanban. The red 1200 is OK to look at but is nothin on a chromeboy. I hate thieves because they more often steal from peopple who can't afford to replace what was stolen.

don't know man.. i mean, sure it looks killer. but i dont think that the chromed js was built for such heavy duty playing. his chromed js's are all scratchy and when he's playing them it gets loaded with sweaty fingerprints,.

tell you the truth, i think that satch should play more with the "normal" finish models. such as the BP or BTB , i think those are great colors.

altho lets not forget that most of his best tunes were recorded with a chromed js, so it should get all the respect it deserves

yeah that's sth i don't like about chromeboys, their finish is not so good. a white place can be seen on joe's guitars where he puts his arm.

but i'd give so many things to have one of those babes...
