Re: Has Satch ever used the JS700 on a recording?

You are right, Wis Redz of Silvanost. Nice transition, huh?

BTW, I think Satch would nail a track less than 20 takes-LOL
So could I, but I don't. You never know what might spring up when your just noodling over the tracks and I'm sure Satch knows this too.

When it comes to soloing on my tracks, there are things that are total inspiration and things that are a little technical that I think would fit well in the tune and just need to find their place. Everytime I do a pass on a track, I usually get something that's just totally wow and inspired and I'll add that to the next pass. Every pass builds from the last taking any and all cool licks. Some of my solos have been the sum of close to 40 passes. Somewhere in those 40 passes, I'll pick up a different guitar too. You never know what a new guitar can bring to the mix till you try it.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that does this too. Just some thoughts though.

Actually I do that too, Dan.
I read that Satch does solos with very few takes. Maybe not.....
In my case, I like to get my solos perfect so I agree with what your saying...
BTW, I'd like to hear your tracks. To hear mine, go to the sevenstring.org jukebox.
or just go here-

Re: Has Satch ever used the JS700 on a recording?

I'd love to show off some of my stuff but I have nothing on the net right now. I haven't written anything in the past year, I've been in a rut up until this past Dec. I am writing now which is good but anything recent hasn't been copyrighted yet so it won't be seeing the net till it is. I need to get off my lazy a$$ and do that.

I might be releasing a cd by the end of the year so you should hear some stuff from me over this year if I have time to post stuff. Because of my job, I'm like a ghost during the summer months and all I do is eat, sleep, work, record. I'll be sure to check your tunes out though.
