High E string fine tuner will not go sharp (Help please)

Hello, I am in a touring band and while everything else on the bridge is fine, the high e string fine tuner will not sharpen, and I was wondering how I go about fixing it. I can take the trem off w/ the strings on to fix it, but I ask for some assistance...thank you

When you say it won't "sharpen"- will the fine tuning knob just not turn? You might try removing it and lubing it with some 3-in-1 oil or even some Vasoline.

The fine tuner moves fine, I'll turn it all the way up and it won't sharpen, it will flatten fine, but when i turn it clockwise the pitch will not raise.

Is it possible that you've just got it maxed out? If so, back the fine tuner to the midway point, unlock your nut and retune your string to pitch. Then you should have plenty of room to go flat or sharp with the fine tuner. There's no reason that it should be maxed out.
