High pass filter - uhhh hows it work ............

I have no idea what to do with this high p ***
filter can someone plz tell me what it's for and how to use it? Thx appreciate it! *LOL*

Scott, try this:
Select the neck pup. bring the volume down to 3 or 4. and play some bluesy licks
Now pull up on the high p ***
filter(volume knob).
Play it again Sam....The notes now sound brighter, with more treble.
You should notice the difference.
When rollin down the volume u lose a lot of the high frecuencies, the high p ***
filter brings them back.
