Holy Crap! [CHEAP JS 90th?]

There is a js 90th on sale locally for 1000$! It's supposed to have 2 small dings, but otherwise be in great condition. I'm trying to reach the guy to set a time to meet him, let's hope someone else hasn't gotten to him alredy.
I just wanted to check in with you guys that for 1000$, i can't go wrong a js 90th anniversary edition, right?
Thanks!

Anyway, i'm going to take a look on it tomorrow! If it's not complete junk, i think that i'll buy it. If i do, there will be pics (duh)
Wish me luck!

Re: Holy Crap!

Awesome price on an awesome guitar. I got mine 8 years ago for just over $700. It came in used at the Guitar Center I was working at, and they priced it as a JS1000. Needless to say, I didn't hesitate and neither should you!

Re: Holy Crap!

It's mine! It's sitting in my lap as i'm writing.
The guitar is awsome! It's in great shape, except for a ding on the front, and some very slight loss of chrome on the pickups.
Although, for 1000$ it's just awsome. The neck is perfect, looks and feels like new.

Re: Holy Crap!

There will be pictures, probably today. Is there any way to make a "pressure ding" less visible? Like buff it up or something?
Anyways, before i'm taking any pictures i'm going to change the strings and play me some guitar! Also, should i start a new "Picture Thread" or keep posting in this one?

Re: Holy Crap!

I am very happy for you and also, depending on the lighting, the same color as the guitar. If you ever want to sell it, pm me please.

Re: Holy Crap!

The pictures are going to have to wait until tomorrow guys! I tried taking pictures, but it's to dark to take pictures without the flash, and whenever i use the flash, the guitar looks like complete sh*t. Tomorrow i'll get some pics in daylight!

Re: Holy Crap!

Nice one Zox ! I think you should head down to the Dubliner for a few pints to celebrate.

PS ...If you do tell Bob I was asking for him.

Cheers Marty....
