How come he was using an Edge Pro?

During the songs 10 words and The Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing, why is Satch using an Edge Pro equipped guitar?

Kinda weird considering all his other personal guitars have the original Edge...

Re: How come he was using an Edge Pro?

that's not an EP, the string block locks go through the trem.

it's an edge.

P.S. i just went and looked at both my EP and edge equipped guitars. The saddles are way short on the EP, and don't go through the trem like the edge screws do.

Nope, definitely an Edge Pro.

The Ibanez logo in the mold instead of the "Licensed Under..." is a dead giveaway. That and the look of the saddles.

Maybe he likes the feel of the EP? Does he HAVE to stick with using an Edge? First I read some people complaining Vai and Satch don't use the EP, and then when one starts people complain? haha.

sorry dude, there's no chance in hell that's an EP. look at the saddles. they are nothing like the EP's saddles.

Do you own a guitar with both of these trems on it? If so, go take a good look at both of them. There is no way that's an EP, guaranteed. The lock blocks don't go through the trem on an EP. At all, or even close.

And why do the saddle block locks go through the trem? because it's an edge. so what if it has a stamp. that doesn't make the makeup of the trem an EP.

Uh guys, maybe you should watch the DVD or Matt08642 should post a better shot, because that is without a doubt an Edge Pro. Believe me, I've watched those songs on the new DVD a million times and it is definitely an edge pro.

Re: How come he was using an Edge Pro?

However...the saddles don't look like they do on the EP. Jax seems to be right on that part...the lock blocks go right through the trem...

However it's been said a billion times that his new DVD shows him using the Edge Pro trem...

Man, you guys can make a fool of yourself all you want, but the fact that those saddles are way short and the block locks go through the trem is a dead giveaway.

That pic is of an Edge, period.

Question: do any of you guys own BOTH of these trems?

I don't want to hear opinions based on pictures you've seen.

The lock block screws through the trem on the first pic is a dead giveaway.

The EP does NOT have block lock screws that extend through the trem. Please explain to me what that is in the pics that is going through the tail piece of the trem.

Re: How come he was using an Edge Pro?

There are no string lock screws extending from the trem! You must be seeing things. It's an edge pro; settled....hopefully

This is an EDGE.

I wish they would put the original edge trems on the JS guitars though, that'd be nice.
