Ibanez F130528

Hey
Guys,

Can anybody tell me something about this guitar? the Ibanez F130528. I bought it of a guy who won it at a contest. it has the signature of joe satriani on the back and looks like a js model. but the serial no? i can't make it up. it has a custom made inlay in the neck and the back says
Ibanez
7101 Case Ave.
North Hollywood
CA 91605
U.S.A

Can anybody tell me something about this guitar?

Thanx

F130258 is the serial number, not the model...

I guess its a late 91 / early 92 Radius (540R)... Dunno if they came with those neck plates...

Pics, or a more detailed description (pickups, frets number, bridge, whatever else you can come up with) would help a lot, too...

Let me guess, you got it from a guy who said Joe signed it and this is a proto JS right? Is it black?
Personally, I think that was a radius and not a JS judging from the pics I saw while it was listed on the bay

Yeah, sounds like a '91 radius. Pics would be helpful.

Re: Ibanez F130528

Like Marianozz said... it appears to be a 1991 Radius "540R-HH" in the RR color. The Radius model shared many similarities to the JS series. The "HH" stands for the hum-hum pickups, and the RR for Ruby Red. Many did come with the Hollywood neck plates and from '91 on, they had the "Custom" logo although there was nothing really custom about them. (we luv 'em anyway!)

The selling price of these varies tremendously, but is generally in the $350-$500 ballpark, depending on condition and how badly someone wants one.
