They need to put AANJs on the high end JS guitars too.

Black pickups would look much better.

Black headstock (definitely) and simple white (or subdued gold) logo would look sharp, too as is on many Ibanez models.

I still voted that I liked it but matching pickups was a tacky looking choice.

i just saw a picture of the new js2410 and love it. I think it looks totally sex with red pickups on the burnt orange.

I'd put some white or black ones instead (maybe yellow ?)

They're not red, they're orange, but with anything color, the pickups will just never match the paint.

I think they did a good overall job with the pickup color - it's difficult to take pictures at NAMM that do the guitar justice. However, Rich's snapshots look quite promising:

My biggest problem with my JS1 is that I don't like the big pickup ring right there at the neck. I find that I prefer playing my H-S-S guitars. This solves that problem entirely. Plus this color is so awesome.

I always wondered if it would be possible to have a full pickguard for a JS molded to the body shape. What color JS1 do you have?
