Re: Ibanez JS2410
Hmm... Don't have an orange guitar, or a JS (which incidentally are *my* initials), does that count as justification...?

I consulted the jemsite moderator's handbook on this and it says that, without prejudice to Article 777, subject to Article 2 Paragraph 4 line 10, should a jemsite member's initials be JS then they shall purchase a JS guitar without undue delay...
Gotta be done I'm afraid!!!

It's a white one.

Cool guitar. Think it would be even better with an aanj.

So what if my initials were SV? Any rules on that? Or just the JS clause?

Re: Ibanez JS2410
Then you just get an SV5470. You're better off with a JS by far. :P

Re: Ibanez JS2410
I like it in theory. However, that color looks orange in all of the real pictures. And that makes the red pickups look really fu*king stupid.
Throw in black pickups (which I would have no problem with doing on my own so it's not a deal breaker), and I love everything about it (I even enjoy the non-tilted back headstock that I used to have a phobia of).

I had the same feeling about my AT-100, but it grew on me and now I wouldn't mind buying another guitar without angled headstock (such as the JS240 *gg*).

How long do these usually take to get to Europe? Any of you guys got rough estimates from past experience?

Re: Ibanez JS2410
It's difficult to go by photos. Plastic pickups will show their color rather well, but paint (with a gloss) can alter in lighting. I just had a JEM custom made, with a French roast metallic paint job... and it looks different shades of color in different photos, depending on lighting, if using a flash, etc. In some photos it looks orangy (which it is not), and in others it almost looks very dark brown (which it is not). I suspect the guitar may look more orange in the photo than it is... but I'm guessing.

Re: Ibanez JS2410
Wondering why
Ibanez
doesn't see the logic of supplying a chrome trem bar to match the rest of the hardware. I know where to get them if I ned but still....

I've always like the fact that the trem bar was black regardless of the pickup or hardware colour
