Re: Ibanez JS2410
I think the color is cool and i could imagine it will be like with the Jem SK that i diden't like so much but the SK color grows and all of a sudden it looks very nice. This orange is cool from the get go tho.

Awesome off-topic information. Was this really your underlying idea, rickcard71?

Older comment, I know.
But I feel that if
Ibanez
is making the color (or at least finding a color that someone else has) then they should have made (or found) a color that matched the pickups.
Not use pickups that only generally match the color of the guitar.
It would have been so easy for them to add a bit more red tint to the paint to get it spot on.
But in 10 years, when the pickups fade, it's going to look awesome!

According to Dimarzio.com, none of their pickups are available (to the public) in orange. That would mean that they are custom making them for the JS2410. If that's the case, why couldn't they match better?

Re: Ibanez JS2410
It's super expensive to do custom colors with plastic. We've done some of that with radel at my company, and it's a bear to get the color right, and costly for every batch. I wonder if they just decided it was "good enough"
Personally, I'd put blue pickups in that guitar anyways.

Re: Ibanez JS2410
I like the almost matching orange pickups better than the black ones that Satch had in when he was last touring.
I really want to see some blue pickups in there. That sounds awesome!

Re: Ibanez JS2410
I just cannot get used to the single coil look on the JS's. I think it looks unbalanced and just wrong somehow.

THAT ^ is what I want! I'm tired of red, black, and white........by the way I take back my too orange comments.....LOVE IT and that burnt/distressed tremolo arm is a nice touch!!

Re: Ibanez JS2410
I believe the reason the JS guitars don't have an AANJ is because Joe likes the old joint better

I wonder if the AANJ affects the natural tone of the guitar because Satch's tone is super.

Re: Ibanez JS2410
It's a stunning looking guitar! Love it! Have never owned a JS before. Perhaps I'm missing something that I need to find out about? Going to see if I can order one of these next week.
