Ibanez J Team Craft? On new JS1000

Has anyone else seen this new stamp on the headstock of the 2005 model JS1000's. Doe's this mean anything? T Team Craft?

Sorry, Team J Craft. The question still exists. Who the heck is Team J Craft?

As far as i am aware its either a special section, or a dedicated set of luthiers who build all the JEMs, JS's and RG and RGA prestiges at the fujigen factory

The Japanese Fender axes are also referred to as 'J-Craft' models.

I thought that the J-Craft logo also meant that their finest luthiers have build this guitar?

I don't think so. I think the reason behind the J-Craft logo is basically to boost up sales by masking people think that this J-Craft thing is special.

Last year, Prestige used to mean "made in Japan". Now that some of the Prestige production has moved to Korea (for the S2075, for example), they needed a way of distinguishing Japanese Prestige from Korean Prestige, hence the Team J. Craft logo and case.

That's my take on it anyway.

So do the Korean models come in a Team K. Craft case? (I doubt it.)

Lol, seriously doubt it Ryan as having your Japanese guitar made in Korea isn't something that you'd want to tell everyone.
