Installing DiMarzio's Fred and Joe in JS100

I have the two pickups, and I have a JS100 body with the electronics and crappy tremolo (or so I've read) coming in the mail. Can I buy a high pass filter and other components that are on the JS1000-1200 and install them along with the pups? Where could I get such things?

I'm considering making this project guitar a synth access too. The Ghost bridge lets you have tremolo with synth access built in. How does it's tremolo compare to a typical Edge or Lo Pro?

Thanks for your time...

What year is the JS? If it has an Edge II, you can swap the trem for an Edge Pro. You can buy the parts you need from Rich (see the Ibanez Rules banner above).

I doubt the Ghost system will work for you unless they have a trem setup I haven't seen. I just upgraded a JS100 with a Fred and a PAF Joe and its a killer ax now(since I also installed a chrome Lopro). Ditto on an Edge Pro dropping in IF you have the version with the Edge Pro II.

I put a FRED and a PAF in my 570. That gave the guitar some much needed beefin' up.

At times, I enjoy it almost as much as the 1200 for tone(s). But they are both very different, and the 'Joe' is just a bit sweeter to play all around.
