Personally, I'm not so interested in WHY he has switched. I'm more concerned that the JSX50 isn't out yet and he's moved on.
Does this mean Peavey will do a "Van Halen" ? Will they retain the rights to the JSX50 and release it under a new name (ala Peavey 5150 renamed to 6105 and the EVH Ernie Ball to the Axis Sport and the Peavey Wolfgang to the HP)?
Or is the JSX50 project canned now? With perhaps the technology to be transferred to a new range of Peavey amps to be released in the future?
OR....maybe Joe will remain with Peavey for the
JSX range but have a contract with Marshall for his touring rig only?
Who knows? Will be interesting to find out, I've got my eyes on that JSX50 head and will be dissapointed if it never sees the light of day.
