IS the black on the JS100 same as the sparkly black on 1ks?

The js1000 have a nice subtle sparkly black finish. Is the black ont he JS 100's this same finish?

I believe the JS1000 is BP (Black Pearl) and the JS100 is BK (Black). There is a difference

yes there is a difference between them. The 100 has a real black the 1000 has a sparkle type thing in it.

I believe but I'm not sure that the Black Pearl is a "candy apple" type finish, a translucent lacquer over a metallic basecoat. In the case of BP I *think* it's a gold basecoat with a translucent black lacquer on the top.

I'm not going into the paint on my JS1000BP to find out for you either :P

Just a metalic base coat cleared over. Testors makes a dman near perfect match that's Gunsmoke Metalic [I think].
