I've found a new JS1000WH at my dealer but not sure if it's real

I've just found a brand new JS1000WH at an authorized Ibanez dealer. Since I've got a JS10th and JS2KPLT, I just want to collect some more. However, after taking a closer look at the tremolo, it's plain chromium color without any text written on it. You know, "Lisenced Under Floyd Rose Patents"sort of thing. So, I need to know if this is normal for a lo-pro Floyd Rose bridge installed on a JS1000. Didn't have a chance to check the serial number. Thanks.

I think the white ones were discontinued in 2002. They had Lo-pros, I think, somebody will correct if I'm wrong. It still should have said "licensed under floyd rose." If this is new, its been on the shelf awhile.

Look at the back of the neck. If it says F02... or something then it should have a lo pro and those say "Lisenced Under Floyd Rose Patents".

The JS1000wh did go out of production after the 2002 model (I just missed it ... that's what I get for waiting... always liked the white ones). They all should be Lo Pro, as mentioned. It might be real, but with the trem swapped out. I don't remember if there was a white version of the JS100 -- I think there was at one point. Better check closer.

When Floyd's patent ran out they made some trems without the text. I have one here. It's kind of strange but I miss the text.

Anyway it could be real.

Congrats! I have always liked the JS WH. Now you need to get a 90th. IMO the 90th is the nicest JS.

I'd be pretty interested to see a pic of that trem!

Doesn't the new trems say Ibanez?
