japan or korea?

I've seen an used JS for sale , the seller says it's a japanese JS-1000 but it looks like a korean JS-100 ( the guitar is black, not black pearl, the hardware is chrome, the Ibanez logo and "JS series" logo are grey ) and i can't find "made in..." anywhere on the guitar....Is there any JS1000 that looks like this?

No JS1000s, but it COULD be a JS1.

Find a serial number- that should tell you where it was made.
Also, what trem does it have? That can determine the country of manufacture as well.

Thanks but what is a JS1? Is it good?
by the way someone told me that korean JS has only one push-pull pot. Is it true? This guitars has 2...
I don't know about the trem but i will see... what trem should it be?

The JS-1 is what the JS1000 was before it was called the JS1000. JS1s are good.

The tremolo should be either an Edge, a LoPro Edge or an Edge Pro.
If it has a LoTRS tremolo, then it's Korean and the tremolo model will be stamped ON the tremolo.

js1 is basically a js1000... they just named it js1000 so no one confused the js100 to be superior to the js1 cos it had a higher number....

easy criterium: if there's no dimarzio logo on the hums then it's most probably no js1/js1000 or any other quality js but a js100...
not sure whether dimarzio gave out PUs without logo on but i expect them not to have done so... if any1 knows pls post

I've had several guitars with DiMarzios that have not had the DiMarzio imprint on them. Most OEM DiMarzios do have the logo, but if the pickups have been changed, they could have after-market pickups that do not have the logo.

Not really the most accurate way to differentiate.

I used to have an all-original 1990 JS1 with the DiMarzios, and IIRC those didn't have any logo on the bobbins.
