Joe Satriani Forum

Hey Satriani Fans!

First of all, this post is not intended as spam; please read it. If moderators think this message really is unallowed, just delete it... but please give everybody a chance to read it!

I've recently created a Joe Satriani Forum because I couldn't find a nice-looking Satch forum on the internet. My intention is to make it possible for all Joe Fans all over the world to meet on a well-arranged, but vast community. Talk about Joe, his gear, show us your Satch covers, discuss concerts, seen a good site or want to promote your own, or just post everthing what you want to say or share with other Satch fans!

But to be succesful, I need members. Preferably a lot!

It would be an honour to welcome you on my forum! Join and start posting now!

A wide open question that will help you promote this: what will your forum provide that you can't get from the discussion forum on www.satriani.com?

I think the Talk to Joe board on satch.com is okay, but it's very unorganised, I really don't understand why they don't just go with a VB format forum like the one here and at Vai.com

It's soo much easier to find your way around with these types of forum. The community on satriani.com is great, i used to post there a LOT but got tired of reading through post after post of 'Hey Joe you're great! I started listening to you..' etc etc.

The Eric Johnson forum is hard to get used to as well. Like not being able to edit.
But Im getting used to it now.

because it's more something like a guestbook, it's not very inviting for new members to start posting there imo. Additionally, it's not very orderly and discussions die within a short span of time, and that's a pity

Dedicated? pffffffffffft He's still got hair on his head, and he's not wearing sunglasses. He's not dedicated unless he puts his pants on one leg at a time like Joe, looks like Joe, eats Joe's food, or smells like Joe!

We are not split on our feelings toward the fact that we are superior to the playing ability of Joseph Satriani. We are normal : )
