Joe Satriani signature acoustic

Not sure if this has been discussed here already. probably has but I haven't seen anything on here about these yet. In any case here are the new Ibanez Joe Satriani acoustics.

Also, the JS 1200 and JS 1000 are now sporting original Edge trems.

JS1200 with original edge and JS2400.

Satch acoustic sounds great and all, but I already have an acoustic and really have no desire for more.

Well Vai has a signature acoustic, and I definitely dont think acoustic when I think Vai.
I definitely cant wait for the new JEM's and JS's with Edges, I want to see how much the 505 will be in Australia. I might buy one, but chances are its going to be about $2000 or more.

Acoustic JS looks nice. Edge tremolo is also cool.

Am I the only person that prefers the edge-pro? Now if I replace my 1200 ever I'm gonna have to hunt around for the edge pro era ones.

So many original Edge's. Well I suppose those cost cheaper to make, but what do you guys prefer? Edge/Edge Pro/Lo Pro? At first I though - cool, original Edge's, but is that really something to be happy about?

I think so. At least the Edges have intonation tools, right?

I don't have any Edge Pros but were there any advantages to them besides Ibanez not having to pay royalties?
