Joes seven string JS,WTF!

I just noticed a photo of him playing it the other day,when did this happen? I've must of missed the threads on that one! I looked at this photo a few times and did'nt even notice the extra string until last night!

Will this be released? I think it would be fantastic to play.
I will try to get the image up later for those who have not seen it,though im assuming everyone who has seen the latest live shows would of seen this guitar right?

Is it the one he plays on the Tokyo G3 dvd??

He has a couple for himself i believe as he wrote a small number of songs on a 7 a few years back (on Strange Beautiful Music and Is There Love In Space). He doesn't play them now, no 7 string songs on the last 2 albums. I would guess the chances of it being released are zero at best

I still think its sweet....Im currently hashing out a deal with my music shop to get a new JS1600...even though satch doesnt really play a fixed bridge either....Im still excited about it-
I think the satch is the sexiest guitar Ibanez ever made...and me being a recent Fender to Ibanez convert.....I picked up a Korean JS 100 with Moe Joe pickup and was sold( I thought to myself...everyone rags on the Korean Ibanez but I love this thing.....which led to me recently becoming an Ibanez junky after playing fender for 20 years.)....since then I traded another one of my Fender Tele's for a RGA Prestige 121 VLF with Joe/ Moe Joe pups..
I should have it in a couple of days. Anyhow the seven string is unique and whether Joe plays it all the time or not...its still a JS.

i had the pleasure of speaking with joe at the anaheim live show after the concert. one of the others there asked him about the 7 string and he said that it was unlikely they would make any of those available commercially because the demand wasn't there. he went on for some time talking about writing songs for the 7 string and how it changes the sound of the band. it seemed to me that he enjoyed it for a while but now he is done with it.
