WTF, if it doesn't have some MAD technique it's a stuff album? That's
what I'm seeing a lot around here...you guys need to get out more, or
hang with Yngwie less!

Of all the Vai CDs, S&R is my favorite, followed by Alien Love Secrets.

You have to understand, the stuff in S&R is the kind of stuff Steve does
for fun when he just wants to jam with a real band, with a real vocalist.
THATS MUSIC!

EVERYTHING CAN'T BE *PAW*
That would be lame.

Honestly, I love Passion and Warfare, but I can only listen to it in doses.
There is just SO MUCH in every inch of tape, that it overwhelms the
senses...
agreed, S&R is awesome, as is Devin Townsend.

S&R is a great album! To me the album is far away from a mainstream album except for one track "In my dreams with you" even back in 1993 when we had all this Aerosmith hype going. Joe's selftitled 1995 album is trully something else from Joe but it sure is a keeper with tracks like "Down, Down, Down". For VH discussion I also quit VH back in 1984 and went on to DRL but I must admit I came back to them in 1991 when they released their F.*.*.K. and great album to!

Regards

André

I've just got to add my opinion that Sex & Religion is an awesome album. A very gutteral and intense collection of songs. A great concept and great execution. Perhaps my own musical background makes me more open to this sort of album, but I've never understood all the negative reactions to this work. You either love it or hate it, it seems.

Best Regards,

Mike.

I'm really sorry, but I have to post this - even though it's on topic...

Here you can see pics of JS1 and JS6. Most of the other JS models are also pictured in the catalogs over at Rich's site.
