By far, the JS series are the best guitars I have ever played. My collection use to consist of a JS1, JS6, JS10, JS90, JS700, a custom JS1000 (Donnie Hunt graphics) and a JS1000BTB. I sold te JS10 and JS1000BTB and am selling the JS90 (trying to raise money to get into a house).

The JS1 in my opnion is the best playing JS guitar out of the bunch. Dont ask me why but it feels a little lighter and for some reason gets the PERFECT tone I was looking for. The JS1000 is still an awesome guitar and its the one I use as a backup.

IMO:

The JS700 has a GREAT "beefy Strat" tone. The JS6 has a beautiful "ballad" tone (Sounds like the JS1 but with the "Hi Mid and Hi" EQ rolled off a bit. The JS10 sounded almost exactly like my JEM7VWH. The JS90 had the killer tone of the JS1 but added a little more brightness to the overall sound. And the JS1000 sounded just like my JS1 but the body weight was a little heavier which made the JS1 more comfortable to play.

Of course this is just all my 2 pennies

Yes, the JS model is so comfortable!

I used to have a JS6 - incredible tone!
I used to have a Donnie - never played it, though
Now I have a BTB - AWESOME!! (see JS topic "COOL #9")
Monday, I get a 92 JS1BK that has a middle single.

I'm still looking for a JS-6 if anyone has one they are looking to sell.

I just picked up a Root Beer Jem, and an Inferno Red JS-1 and a Black
Pearl JS-1000.

The black pearl is going to be stripped and refinished in a custom
paintjob by me (no, not a donnie copy, I have something in my head
I think will look pretty wicked on a JS guitar).

I used to own a Donnie in the past, but I sold it to pay some medical
bills. Boy, I'm glad that's all over with.

Hopefully I can get my collection up again, and start playing guitar more
regularly.

JS 1000BTB

I own a JS1000BTB and love it.

A couple of weeks ago I was ready to give it away. Nothing wrong with the guitar, I just wanted to post a picture of it and got frustrated because it wouldn't work.

Anyway, it's a great looking and awesome sounding guitar. I prefer the look of the BTB to any of the other 1000 models.

It's funny how one JS guitar never seems to be enough though. I was very close to buying a chrome boy a few months ago but but unfortunately someone stole it from the guy selling it.

That's my story. Hope this link works..
