And this is exactly *why* I like the JS series....maybe I'm weird, but I prefer guitars without pickguards and bindings. I do agree that there is a need for some different color choices. But I can't wait until I can afford a JS1000 BP.

People are just too crazy about Jems that they ignore the JS, thats all.
I'll settle for about any kind of lefty.

Re: JS future options (2004 ibanez ad blurb)
I think they should make a JS lefty as well. I know 2 left-handed guitarists that would love to have a JS. Well....now 3 including you.
It would only be fair to you guys.

Re: JS future options (2004 ibanez ad blurb)
Oh yeah. Forgot about you, Koss. Will there ever be a JS lefty?
They should at least make a JS 100 lefty seeing how they made the Jem 555 lefty.

And that jem model failed. That would be a good reason to not release a JS100L. They would be much more successful with a limited run of a higher end left handed JS model, if not a permanent lefty model.

Re: JS future options (2004 ibanez ad blurb)
You think so? Maybe if there are more left handed Satch fans, that the JS 100L would be successful. I'd rather have a JS 1000 though.

Re: JS future options (2004 ibanez ad blurb)
Who's to say there is a lack of lefty satch fans? You only hear about more people demanding a lefty jem then a JS because there acturally was a lefty jem at one point, so they know the idea isnt completely out of the question. If there had been a JSL at one point, people would be demanding another one of those aswell.
A limited run of jems/JS guitars in left handed versions would sell like hotcakes (I dont acturally know what a hotcake is
) Say there was an anniversary jem commin out (50k, 20 year etc.) and they did a run of 500 righty, and 250 lefty. The lefty ones would more then likely sell much quicker then the righties. Even if there was 500 of both, the lefties would be gone much sooner, even with a higher price.

Re: JS future options (2004 ibanez ad blurb)
Really? Wow. One of my friends (Left-handed) plays a lefty RG.
He wants a Jem but not a 555. Then he said -
"Man, It would be even cooler if I could get a JS lefty".
If only they made them. They probably would sell.
I think I could agree with you on that.
There must be alot of lefty guitarists out there.

I do think the lefties need to band together and lobby collectively...

Will everyone stop going on about Goldboy or whatever?
Gold... looks... TERRIBLE. Silver or Chrome looks 1000 times better then gold everytime.

*Does same* is it black or the funky mirage blue? Mine's the latter
As for lefty JS's...only 22 frets! I love the shape of the things though.

Best regards,
Mike.
Without a doubt, they have been very boring for a long time now except the new JS '05 Chrome version, but that's 5k+. The JS needs to get radical again like the ones with the graphics.
