LOL.

I think the straw that broke the camels back was dealers calling into HoshUSA to get info, place orders, annoyed at being left out of the loop, etc. only to find out the new stuff was officially unofficial until the pre-NAMM USA dealer meetings anyways... glen

ps - just read all the posts & hope you mom is well

Sorry for your mom Rich. Hope she's gonna be better.

As to killed projet, are you aware of any that were killed for the JS line ?

Thanks guys. She's doing well. 3 hours of surgery and a whole lot of morphine later [she's still not sharing!]. She's got a long road which is already full of potholes. She'll be having a few more tests this weekend [the ones she's been putting off for over a year] since she's a captive audience and really can't fight it too hard!

So what was the proposed purple dot JEM? What body color?

It's silly to axe an axe just because someone knows about it too soon. It's either a good idea or it's not.

Rich & Glen: can you summarize and list the cancelled axes? Which was the one "anticipated" by us? The 15th?

Uh, purple body, dot inlays, gold hardware?

I'm not going to name any more, I might mention something that's still being talked about, and as already stated, IT'S WAY TOO EARLY!!!!

Safe behaviour Rich. I think everyone is burning inside to know more (including me) but everyone would be certainly more burning (and hungry) if any project in course would die because we want to know too much. Anyway you're a lucky guy to be in the secrets of (Ibanez) God.

There are other "responsible" parties here that know, they're just "responsible" about what they say, and more important, to whom

Can't wait until 2008 ! If we consider the options that Ibanez has as to the JS, we can dream of the following.

The 10th anniversary was comemorated through the Chromeboy. Hope they will the idea of launching a limited edition of Goldboy . After all, a 20th anniversay and also the 100th anniversary of Hoshino must lead to a Goldboy

I've got a goldboy ) Just like the 10th, it's got its impefetions and screwups in the finish (thanks to the "G3" butchers if you know what i mean), but overall its no doubt a Goldboy. A JS1000 bathed in Gold looks pretty killer i'd say.[/quote]

Wrong. The Unplugged with SRV has been repeated a million times.

I definitely understand that some things have to be kept secret, but we can't be blamed for talking this up early. Ibanez are the ones who put the teaser out there with their ad, presumably to generate interest. Well, it worked!

P.S. When have they replayed the SRV and JS Unplugged? I keep an eye on the listings but it looks like all they ever play is Punk'd.
