JS future options (2004 ibanez ad blurb)

Anyone have any idea what the future holds for the JS1000 series guitars? Things are pretty boring right now with only the black pearl being offered. I would love to see some graphics models being offered again. When's the next anniversary model due?

Best regards,

Mike.

03'would be the 15th [going by when they decided to release a 10th] but no JS. They did decide to import some JEM77FP's to celebrate their 15th though

2008 would be the JS 20th anv, and the hoshino 100th anv. this could get interesting.

Can't wait until 2008 ! If we consider the options that Ibanez has as to the JS, we can dream of the following.

The 10th anniversary was comemorated through the Chromeboy. Hope they will the idea of launching a limited edition of Goldboy . After all, a 20th anniversay and also the 100th anniversary of Hoshino must lead to a Goldboy. Moreover, the Chromeboy was already released twice (even if the the JS2 models were avorted).

They can (and even must!) think of reactivating those old and rare models that were JS3, JS4 and JS5. That seems plausible : the JS2 was "reativated" with the JS10th. But no reactivitation happened as to the JS3-5. Let's cross fingers

Thankfully that won't happen. The artists are either dead or have absolutely no interest in revisiting those days. They're earned their place as they are and I'd much rather see something new and different, a JS7 [7 string oil of course], and a JS8 and JS9 graphic.

And to be deadly serious I'd be super happy if they ever do anything besides BLACK PEARL!! ;/

We're slightly luckier in the UK, we still get the BTB and the white model. The BTB is great, but we need more variety like red, orange or a natural finish. I know all this had been said far to many times, but its time Ibanez took heed and did something about it!!

Oooh, yeah... a deep metallic orange JS with a fine gold flake in it would be gorgeous.
