JS Special?

Is there a guitar that called the JS Special? I've been hearing things in Singapore. But can't seem to find details or pictures on the web!

I've never heard of that before. I don't think it exists. It would be a pretty lame name for a JS anyways.

That's right. No Edge's on any of them. Exept maybe on one from the early 90's.

Re: JS Special?

Wasn't the JS Special a small production of JS1200's with edge trems (just like Joes) for Joe's Asian Ibanez clinic? 'cause I'm pretty sure they made a small # of them, I'm just not too sure if that's what the "JS Special" was or not.

Re: JS Special?

Hmmm, i can get that JS Special for 1.9k USD.

Do you think it's worth it?

cause there's a JS1000WH with an Edge bridge retailing for 1,286USD

Re: JS Special?

When I saw him live in Boston with EJ (awesome show), he had a JS 1000 WH but with an Edge, pretty much a JS 1, it looked brand new though. All his guitars he uses seem to be equipped with the original Edge.

Re: JS Special?

Tommy Lee ordered 100 of them in JS1 spec [Edge trems, chrome hardware] and had Joe sign and number them all when he was there for the clinic. He has [probably] 75 left still.

Re: JS Special?

Motley Crue's Tommy Lee. Can't be, Tommy Lee must be a common name.
